The NEW Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation: Review and Pics
I don’t own a lot of Dior makeup, simply because of the price point. But everything I have tried from their lip gloss to their foundations, I have found to be both luxurious and high-quality. Did this new Dior foundation rate as high on my list? Read below to find out!

The Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation is a liquid formula that retails for $52.00 (U.S.) for 1 oz. (or 30 mil) of product and comes in a sleek glass bottle. It has an SPF of 15 and comes in 42 shades with a nice variety of undertones.
Here is how Dior describes their new foundation:
Medium Coverage
Yes. One layer is plenty for a medium to medium-full coverage. I experimented with building it up but found that two layers started to look too heavy. One is all that’s needed to give good coverage and a radiant finish.
Radiant Finish
Speaking of the finish…. When I first applied it, it reminded me of the L’oreal Pro-Glow foundation, however this one does dry down more than that. When I heard the word “Glow” in the name of this Dior foundation, I assumed that it was going to be a dewy finish, but it’s really not. I would say it’s a step above a “satin” finish…enough that it has a nice sheen when the light hits, but not so much that you’re walking around looking like you’ve been cooking bacon all day.

Hydrating
I’m always a bit stumped when trying to review this type of claim about any foundation…
Dior advertises that this formula has 86% skincare ingredients (including iris extract, Hibiscus, and wild pansy extract) that are supposed to help your skin over time. I never put too much thought into “foundation/skincare hybrids,” as I switch foundations so often, that I never give one particular formula enough time to “improve” my skin.
As far as the hydration claim? I can say that it definitely say that it didn’t make my skin feel tight, dry or uncomfortable in any way. I mean, it doesn’t feel like moisturizer, but it’s not supposed to… so I realize that may not be the most helpful answer, but these are my honest thoughts.
Long-Wearing
Absolutely. This is one area in particular where I feel Dior products excel. They really know how to make products that last for the duration of time you wear them. And not just last, but look good too.

The Lowdown:
Name: Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation SPF 15
Price: $52.00 (U.S.) for 1 oz or 30 mil of product.
Shade Range: Very good! 42 Shade and a nice range of undertones
Coverage: Medium (I found it to be medium to full.)
Finish: Radiant note: not “dewy” or overly “glowly” but a slight sheen when the light hits.
SPF: Yes. SPF 15
Special mention: 24-hour wear. Heat/Humidity resistant. Contains 86% skincare ingredients
Who might enjoy it: I think normal, slightly oily, and dry skin types will like this best. If you have oily skin, don’t immediately write it off… it wasn’t as dewy as I anticipated it being from the name. It looks very dewy when first applying, but then dries down quite a bit.
Suggestion: One layer of foundation is more than enough for a medium to medium-full coverage finish. Less is more when it comes to building this one up.
